    It's fun and easy!

    THE BASICS:
    We are open Thursday thru Monday, with occasional special shows, each movie requires a few volunteers to work with the manager to:
    • Sell tickets
    • Sell & serve concessions
    • Hang around during the movie - whether watching the movie, reading, restocking, or visiting with folks who come in for popcorn!
    • Lastly, a quick clean up following the movie
    Every Monday, you will receive the Volunteer Newsletter by email. It will list the shows that we need help with - and you simply reply to let the manager, Brady, know when you'd like to work. We do not sign you up to work, YOU get to choose. Click here for a sample.

    Volunteers shifts begin one hour before show time unless communicated with the manager. The shift ends approximately 15-30 minutes following the end of the feature presentation.

    THE TRAINING:
    Alyssa will give you all the necessary training during the hour before your first movie showtime and she will be there working beside you when moviegoers arrive. We regularly refresh volunteers on working the selling stations - don't worry about remembering it all the first time!

    The selling stations are very user friendly, everything is even dollars (no tax) to make it simple for anyone for work with money. Alyssa works hard to keep things simple and enjoyable for volunteers at the theatre.

    THE BENEFITS:
    Greet & visit with all kinds of moviegoers coming to the State to relax and be entertained at the movies.
    Practice with money and customer service.
    Free time during the movie (reading, homework, etc).
    Watching a movie for free!
    Enjoying a free (delicious) popcorn and drink as a volunteer.
    Getting to pick when you want to work!
    We have a scholarship - and volunteering looks great on applications and resumes!

    WHO CAN DO IT:
    Volunteers are asked to be at least high school age (ask about scholarship), however youth ages 14 and younger may assist under the direct supervision of an adult parent or guardian.
