LIVE OUTDOOR BENEFIT CONCERT with "Catfish Murphy"- the Eastern Iowa Bar Band Sensation- August 15th- Holstein, IA Country Club-9:00pm $30 at the door- ALL proceeds from the concert going to the State Theatre Fund!!! 

Don't miss locals- Patrick McAreavy of Holstein, IA and Rob Maharry of Alta, IA make their NW Iowa musical debut! The band plays covers of Rock n Roll, Country, and Americana! Fun to dance and sing along to!

Doors open at 8pm. Come have fun Saving The State with us!

Signature Homestyles Candle Fundraiser

Sharen Borchers has set up a fundraiser through Signature Homestyles! The candles are $15. There are 8 different fragrances, they have 45 hours of burn time, come in a box and have glass lids! If you are intersted in ordering a candle she will have a booth setup at the Save the State Vendor Show on August 22 or you can contact Sharen Borchers or Christina Volkert!

holstein kids "save the state" lemonade stand

Holstein Kids Save the "State" Lemonade stand in front of Theatre Monday thru Friday afternoons from July 15 to Aug 15th. All supplies will be provided. Kids and adult supervision just need to get on the schedule with Robin Van Norman. She's coordinating workers.

Let's let the kids do their part! Free will donation goes to the renovation and reopening of the theater! Thanks Holstein Supermarket for the donated lemonade!

What Our patrons Are Saying

The staff/volunteers were so friendly and helpful during our afternoon trip (where my 2 year old decided 20 minutes into the film that she wasn't staying what so ever) and were equally friendly when my 6 year old son, 9 year old nephew and I returned for the night showing to try again! The seats were incredibly comfortable, the concessions were great, halarious movie and the best part was the theatre itself! Would recommend the experience to everyone and reassure anyone my new go to theatre will be the State ☆☆☆☆☆ - Sam Phelps
